You will connect operational data, production systems, and the people who use them. The work spans industrial signals, workflow design, structured information, observability, and interfaces that make exceptions clear instead of hiding them.

What you will do

  • Design data and control flows across factory equipment, office systems, and operational reporting.
  • Create evaluation methods that make quality, downtime, safety, and failure modes visible.
  • Work with operators and business teams to turn specialist knowledge into clear, repeatable workflows.
  • Design for reliability, privacy, latency, cost, and honest communication of uncertainty.
  • Own systems through implementation, commissioning, documentation, and continuous improvement.

What you bring

  • Experience shipping dependable software or automation systems used by real teams.
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or a related language and comfort working across APIs and data flows.
  • Practical understanding of integration, structured data, testing, observability, and system trade-offs.
  • Clear written communication and the ability to explain technical decisions to operators and non-specialists.
  • Good judgment about where automation helps, where it is risky, and where a simpler system is better.

Useful experience

  • Industrial communications, SCADA/MES/ERP integration, computer vision, or operational analytics.
  • Production observability, safety-sensitive data, or regulated operating environments.
  • Building interfaces that expose sources, confidence, exceptions, and review workflows.
