What you will be responsible for.
Some Quindart capabilities end in the physical world: connected equipment, specialist training, robotics, sensing, and device-controlled work. You will make those execution routes observable and safe through prototypes, test rigs, embedded systems, and the interfaces between hardware and software.
What you will do
- Develop hardware concepts involving sensors, control, embedded systems, and connected devices.
- Build and test prototypes, fixtures, and proof-of-concept assemblies.
- Define test plans and investigate failures across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and integration boundaries.
- Work with software and product engineers on the data and controls that connect physical systems to digital products.
- Document designs, decisions, risks, and field-learning clearly enough for another engineer to continue the work.
What we are looking for
- Experience taking a hardware idea from concept through prototype and structured testing.
- Practical knowledge of electronics, sensors, embedded systems, control, or a related discipline.
- Confidence using lab tools and diagnosing problems methodically.
- An understanding of reliability, safety, sourcing, and maintainability in real operating environments.
- Clear documentation and collaborative communication across hardware and software teams.
Useful, not required
- PCB design, firmware, industrial communications, robotics, or computer vision.
- Low-volume manufacturing, supplier coordination, or field testing.
- Systems that combine physical equipment with web-based monitoring or control.
