Privacy Policy

How Quindart collects, uses, stores, and protects information across our websites, services, and applications.

Effective date: May 12, 2026
GDPR

At a glance

We collect information needed to provide our websites, services, and applications; operate account features; improve reliability; secure our systems; and respond to requests.

The information we process depends on the product and features you choose to use, and may include account details, app content, preferences, device identifiers, analytics events, notifications, support messages, files or images you provide, and permission-based data such as location, camera, photos, microphone, or contacts when a feature requires it.

We use trusted service providers, including cloud hosting, authentication, database, storage, notification, analytics, email, deployment, and app platform providers, to operate and support our services.

1. Who we are

Quindart is based in Hong Kong at 2/F, Tower 1, Tern Centre, 237 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. You can contact us at contact@quindart.com.

This policy applies to Quindart websites, business services, mobile applications, web applications, and related support services that link to this policy.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information: authentication identifiers, email address, display name, profile image, account status, preferences, and settings you choose to provide.

App content and activity: records, notes, entries, uploaded files or images, reminders, saved preferences, feature activity, in-app events, and other content you create or manage through our applications.

Device, usage, and technical information: device identifiers, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, crash reports, diagnostic logs, performance data, notification tokens, and security or fraud-prevention signals.

Permission-based information: some applications may request access to device features such as location, camera, photos, microphone, contacts, calendars, motion sensors, or notifications. We collect this information only when the relevant feature needs it and after the permission or consent required by the platform or applicable law.

Communications: name, email address, company information, message content, attachments, and other details you provide when you contact us, request support, or make a business inquiry.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, personalize, and improve our services; authenticate users; sync data across devices; enable app features; send service messages and notifications; respond to support requests; analyze reliability and usage; prevent abuse; maintain security; and comply with legal obligations.

If an application uses location or other sensitive permission-based data, we use it only for the disclosed feature purpose, such as enabling a user-requested tracking, mapping, camera, media, communication, or reminder feature. Background access is used only when the app explains the need and the user enables the relevant permission.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand usage trends, improve performance, and develop new services. We do not use this information to identify you unless necessary to operate, secure, or support the services.

4. Service providers

We rely on third-party providers to operate our services. These may include Cloudflare and OpenNext for hosting and edge delivery, Stripe for payments and connected-account onboarding, D1 for marketplace records, app store platforms, and email, analytics, monitoring, security, and customer-support providers.

These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to us and are subject to their own privacy, security, and data-processing commitments.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, app platform providers, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.

Content you create in our applications is not shared publicly by default unless a product feature clearly allows sharing or publishing and you choose to use it. You are responsible for information you export, screenshot, publish, or send outside our services.

6. App stores and platform requirements

When our applications are distributed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another platform, that platform may process information under its own terms and privacy policy. Store listings may also include app-specific data disclosures required by the platform.

We aim for this policy, in-app disclosures, and app store data disclosures to accurately describe how each application accesses, collects, uses, and shares information. If an app uses sensitive data or background permissions, the app should provide any additional in-app disclosure and consent required by the relevant platform.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve security, and meet legal obligations.

Where an application allows account creation, we provide a way to request account deletion in the app or through a web or support channel. Deleting an account removes associated app data from our active systems unless limited retention is needed for backups, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

8. Your choices and rights

You may update account information, adjust app preferences, disable notifications, change device permissions, delete content, or request account deletion through the app, device settings, or support channel where available.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. Contact contact@quindart.com to make a request.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13 unless a specific application clearly states otherwise and is designed to comply with applicable child privacy requirements. If you believe a child provided information without appropriate consent, contact us.

10. Security and international processing

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including secure transmission where appropriate. No internet or cloud service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for international processing where required.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve or platform requirements change. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where required, provide additional notice.
